One of the Most Cosmopolitan Districts in London With Great Pubs and Restaurants
Bayswater is located in the city of Westminster and is located about a mile and half west of Marble Arch. In the 17th century it was known as “watering Baynard”, known for its excellent spring water, and it was then reduced to ‘Bayswater’.
Bayswater is a very cosmopolitan area with many Americans, Arabs, Greeks, Chinese and Brazilians. It has a Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Moscow Road and Queensway Brazilian Catholic Church.
And ‘known as the Georgian terraces with high ceilings. Bayswater features are expensive and the apartments are sold primarily in leasehold properties.
All main functions are concentrated in Queenway, with lots of shops, restaurants and pubs along the busy thoroughfare.
Bayswater is a perfect location for exploring Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens are in Bayswater Raod. Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Playground is about two minutes walk from Kensington Gardens, opposite Underground Station Queensway (Central Line) and Kensington Palace is about three minutes’ walk below.

Whiteleys – created by William Whiteley in 1863, Whiteley was the first department store in London. It ‘was closed in 1981. Whiteleys current is within the village with shops, restaurants and cafes and a cinema.
A popular combination is the only ice rink and a bowling alley in London.
It ‘a great place to eat out with a lot of Chinese restaurants, Italian, Indian, Arabic, greek, Brazilian, Spanish and Japanese. Bayswater Chinese restaurants serve the best dim sum and roast duck in London. If you like the Great British pub food, head of the corner of Queensway and Bayswater Road Moscow weapons.
You can start your walk in Memory of Diana in Kensington Gardens after the 90 plaques embedded in the ground along the route. This is a major London tourist circular walk that covers about seven miles through four royal parks, three castles and mansions of two.
Artists and craftsmen will present masterpieces on the sidewalk outside the Bayswater Road, Kensington Gardens on Sunday. Visitors enjoy walking on the sidewalk, and appreciate the unique look.

There is a casino near the Bayswater underground station (Circle and District lines)
Because this area is very popular with foreign visitors, is a large concentration of foreign exchange offices in the region.
Bayswater is located in the shops of Oxford Street and West End theaters Royal Albert Hall is located in Kensington Gardens, on the other side (about 15 minute walk through the park).
It also has the largest concentration of hotels in London and property prices are relatively cheaper than those in the West End and Mayfair.
Visitors staying in London Bayswater benefit, not only because it is near the Royal Park and Kensington Palace, but also because it has much to offer in terms of cosmopolitan atmosphere, a variety of exotic cuisines and a good selection of cheap hotels in the region.
